Visa, MasterCard, Discover
cards are accepted throughout the Indianapolis Zoo.
The Zoo has an ATM on grounds next to the Ticket
Booth near the Plains Exit.
Military Discounts: The
Indianapolis Zoo now offers a 20% discount to all members of the military,
active, retired or veterans, up to four tickets per visit year-round.
Please bring your military ID with you to receive the discount.
To
honor our men and women in service, all active and retired members and all
veterans of the
military are admitted free on Memorial Day and Veterans Day each year.
Please bring a military ID of some kind with you for admittance. Non-military
family members continue to receive a 20% discount on these holidays.
We’re sorry, but we are unable to offer reciprocal admission to members of
other attractions. We do offer a
10% discount to members of other AZA accredited zoos and to members of AAA
good for up to four tickets per visit. Ask your representative at the
front gate about the discounts. Please bring membership cards to
qualify!
PLEASE NOTE: The Zoo and Gardens
are Non-Smoking Environments.
Visitors are required to extinguish all smoking materials before entering
the grounds.
Child ID Program
When you arrive at the Zoo, or at several locations on Zoo grounds, you may
pick up a paper wristband for your child and register the name and your cell
phone number with the Zoo. If your child should become separated from
you, this program will allow Zoo staff to call you on your cell phone so you
can be quickly and safely reunited. Only the child's first name is
used. We hope you take advantage of this program.
