 The next step up from membership offers wonderful value!
Friends who make an annual gift of $250-999 are eligible for special donor benefits and invitations. Annual gifts of $250 or more are tax deductible and include membership to the Zoo and Gardens for you and your family (or grandchildren) plus four guests. Gift Club contributions also provide supporters with invitations to special donor events, like Spring and Summer Walkabouts, our early Zoo opening exclusively for donors. Note: $145 of your gift goes toward the value of your membership (optional) and is therefore not tax deductible.

Lowell Nussbaum Society
 Our special recognition Society honors supporters who make an annual gift of $1,000 or more. Journalist Lowell B. Nussbaum was not satisfied to simply imagine a zoo in Indianapolis. He helped to found the Zoological Society on October 24, 1944, and, for the next eleven years, helped to plan the future of the Zoo. The vision of Mr. Nussbaum and the founders of our Zoo lives on today through our friends who help make the dream a reality with generous financial support.
As a tribute to Lowell Nussbaum, the Indianapolis Zoological Society has named its donor society in his honor. The Society recognizes donors who make an annual contribution of $1,000 or more per year. Members of the Society receive admission to the Zoo and White River Gardens for their family and four guests, as well as invitations to behind the scenes tours, events and special activities. The Society carries forward the vision of promoting wildlife conservation as a social responsibility locally and around the world. Note: $145 of your gift goes toward the value of your membership (optional) and is therefore not tax deductible.
